He was known by “George”, “Leonda”, “Lee”, “Leon” & “dad”, but one thing we can all call him is loved.

George Leonda Moore, 58, of Ridgeway passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, in Hospice of Rockingham County surrounded by family. He was born in Martinsville on May 22, 1959, grandson of the late George K. and Blanche D. Hairston. Well known as a home computer repair expert of PC Repair Pro. George Leonda worked at Nautica VF Distribution Center in Martinsville as a Senior Desktop Support Technician. He was a NHRA enthusiast, jazz lover, and avid fisherman……

Leonda is survived by his mother Jeannie DeLois Gamble; wife, Kamelda Martin Moore; daughter, Catrese’ Miranda Hairston; siblings, Carla Gamble, Bridget Gamble, Corey Gamble and wife, Belle; several nieces, nephews LeShawn Gamble and Steven Gamble wife, LaKeisha; niece Michelle Strange, husband, Lamont; and a host of great nieces and nephews and wonderful friends and coworkers.

A Celebration of Life event will be held at a later date for family, friends, and coworkers. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Triad Cremation Society & Chapel 2110 Veasley Street Greensboro NC 27407.
